Description
This ARRMA roof skid set provides the replacement roof protection for the Senton 223S. The roof skids mount on top of the body shell and take the impact and abrasion when the truck lands upside down or slides across pavement on its roof — which, on a short course truck driven hard, happens constantly.
The skids are molded from tough composite material selected for abrasion resistance, letting the truck slide across a surface rather than grinding a hole straight through the polycarbonate body. Precision molded mounting points attach them to the factory locations on the shell.
This is one of the highest-value protective parts on the truck: a few dollars of composite standing between a rollover and a torn-up painted body that costs many times more to replace. Roof skids are consumables by design — when they're worn thin, swap them before they wear through.
Fitment is the ARRMA Senton 223S. The package includes the complete roof skid set.
