Description
The Traxxas 10962-BLUE is a pair of aluminum GT-Maxx rear shocks for the Funco Pro Scale sand car (model 109076-4), anodized in brilliant blue. They install as direct replacements for the stock rear shocks and are sold as a pair so both rear corners match.
GT-Maxx shocks deliver plush, consistent damping on rough terrain. Extra-large-diameter shock shafts move smoothly through the seals for responsive control over sharp hits, while the machined aluminum bodies shed heat and shrug off abuse that wears out plastic-bodied shocks. Threaded bodies with adjustable collars let you set ride height precisely, and captured lower spring retainers stay put through the hardest landings.
The rear shocks matter most on this car: the Funco is rear-wheel drive with 8s power, so the rear suspension manages both acceleration squat and the biggest landing loads. A fresh, matched aluminum pair keeps the rear planted and consistent. The anodized finish color-matches the rest of the Traxxas aluminum upgrade line for the Sand Car. Package includes two fully assembled rear shocks.
