Description
The Traxxas 5855 is a ProGraphix replacement body for the Slash 2WD, which also fits the Slash VXL and Slash 4X4. A decal sheet is included.
ProGraphix is Traxxas's middle path between a clear body and a fully finished one. The graphics are already printed on the shell — all the detail work is done — but the body still requires paint for the final color application. You spray your chosen color from the inside, the printed graphics do the rest, and the result looks close to a custom airbrushed body for the effort of a single-color paint job.
That makes this the right choice for drivers who want a personalized truck without decal alignment or masking work: no two ProGraphix trucks need look alike, since the base color is up to you.
The shell is polycarbonate, so use polycarbonate-specific paint. This body uses traditional post-and-clip mounting.
