Description
The Traxxas 5851-BLUE is a factory pre-painted replacement body for the Slash 2WD, finished in blue with all decals applied, and assembled with front and rear latches for the Traxxas clipless body mounting system. It also fits the Slash VXL and Slash 4X4.
Clipless mounting does away with traditional body clips: hidden latches let the body snap on and off in seconds, with no clips to lose and clean, uninterrupted body lines. The latches come pre-installed on this body.
Fitment note: this mounts directly to current Slash models built with clipless mounts. Older Slash chassis without them require the conversion parts — #6940 for the Slash 2WD, or #6976 and #10125 for the Slash 4X4. If your truck uses traditional posts and clips and you prefer to keep them, the legacy clip-style blue body is part 5851X.
The shell is polycarbonate, fully trimmed, ready to mount straight out of the bag with no painting or decal work.
