Description
The Traxxas 5851-RED is a factory pre-painted replacement body for the Slash 2WD, finished in red with all decals applied, and assembled with front and rear latches for the Traxxas clipless body mounting system. It also fits the Slash VXL and Slash 4X4.
Clipless mounting replaces traditional body clips with hidden latches, so the body snaps on and off in seconds with nothing to lose in the grass and no clips interrupting the body lines. This body ships with the latches already installed.
Fitment note: this mounts directly to current Slash models built with clipless mounts. Older Slash chassis without clipless mounts require the conversion parts — #6940 for the Slash 2WD, or #6976 and #10125 for the Slash 4X4 — to accept this body. If your truck uses traditional body posts and clips and you do not want to convert, the legacy clip-style body is part 5851.
The shell is polycarbonate, fully trimmed, ready to mount out of the bag with no painting or decal work.
