Description
The Traxxas 5849-HWN is a factory pre-painted clipless body for the Slash 4X4, finished in the Hawaiian graphics scheme with decals applied, and assembled with front and rear latches for the Traxxas clipless body mounting system. It also fits the Slash VXL and Slash 2WD.
The Hawaiian scheme is one of the most distinctive graphics packages Traxxas offers for the Slash — a full printed design rather than a solid color, and something that would take serious airbrush skill to reproduce by hand. Buying it factory-finished is the only practical way to get this look.
The shell arrives painted, decaled and fully trimmed, ready to mount straight out of the bag. Hidden clipless latches replace traditional body clips: seconds on and off, nothing to lose, and clean body lines with no clips showing. Latches come pre-installed.
Fitment note: mounts directly to current Slash models with clipless mounts. Older chassis require the conversion parts — #6940 for the Slash 2WD, or #6976 and #10125 for the Slash 4X4.
