Description
The Traxxas 9470 is a pair of replacement front tires for the Drag Slash, sized for the 2.2-inch front Weld wheels. These are the bare tires, letting you refresh worn rubber on your existing wheels rather than buying complete assembled sets.
Drag Slash front tires are skinny by design, replicating the narrow front runners of a real no-prep drag truck. Up front the job is steering and rolling resistance, not traction, so the tall, narrow profile minimizes drag on launch while keeping the truck pointed straight at speed. Because the fronts see far less abuse than the rear slicks, replacing just the tires when the tread wears or the sidewalls age keeps your wheels and the cost down.
These fit the Drag Slash front wheels and require gluing during mounting, standard practice for RC tires at these speeds. Package includes two front tires.
