Description
The Traxxas 3623-BLUE is a front and rear skid plate set for Traxxas 2WD Stampede-platform trucks, including the BIGFOOT No. 1 Officially Licensed Replica, BIGFOOT Officially Licensed Replica, Stampede, and Stampede VXL. Both plates install as direct replacements for the stock skid plates.
Skid plates are the chassis's first line of defense: they take the scraping and impact from curbs, rocks, and rough landings so the chassis itself does not. On a truck that gets driven hard, the plates are consumable armor — far cheaper to swap a worn plate than to replace a ground-down chassis. The molded nylon construction slides over obstacles and absorbs hits without cracking.
The colored plates also let you accent the underside of the truck to match a body or wheel scheme, which is a popular finishing touch on BIGFOOT builds. Package includes one front skid plate and one rear skid plate.
