Description
The Traxxas 6965 is a clear polycarbonate replacement body for the Slash 4X4, which also fits the Slash VXL and Slash 2WD. Window masks and a decal sheet are included.
This is the blank-canvas option: an untrimmed finish is not required since the shell comes ready for paint, and the included window masks keep the glass areas clean while you spray. Paint from the inside with polycarbonate-specific paint, apply the supplied decals, and the truck wears exactly the scheme you designed.
Important clipless note: this clear body is designed for the current clipless mounting system but does not include the latch hardware. To mount it clipless you need #6967 latches and #6966 latch mounts, purchased separately. Factor those into the order if your truck runs clipless mounting.
Clear bodies are the choice for painters, racers running club-mandated schemes, and anyone whose color simply is not in the pre-painted range.
