Description
The Traxxas 5882 is a pair of assembled, pre-glued tire and wheel units for the 2WD front position, combining SCT Split-Spoke satin chrome wheels with a black beadlock-style ring, licensed Kumho tires and foam inserts.
The Split-Spoke wheel uses a paired-spoke face rather than the solid dish of the basic SCT wheel, giving the truck a more detailed look while keeping identical mounting geometry. Functionally the two are interchangeable; the difference is style.
On a 2WD Slash the front wheels are narrower than the rears, so this front-only part is not interchangeable with the rear or 4X4 sets. The Kumho tread carries closely spaced blocks that put more rubber down than an open lug design, giving steady, predictable steering grip on packed dirt and hard surfaces.
The beadlock ring is molded styling, not functional hardware. These arrive glued with inserts fitted and mount straight to the hex.
