Description
The Powerhobby 80mm Promatics Shocks feature a scale-style internal spring design for compatible 1/10-scale RC crawlers. Their machined aluminum bodies provide a durable, clean appearance without the exposed external springs found on traditional RC shocks.
The two-stage design includes additional soft and medium spring options, allowing the suspension response to be adjusted for different vehicle weights, terrain and driving preferences. These shocks can also be configured for either sprung or droop-style suspension setups.

Fitment depends on the vehicle’s mounting position, required shock length, mounting-hole size and available chassis clearance. Measure the original shocks from mounting point to mounting point before purchasing.
Setup Notes
- Select the internal spring rate according to the vehicle’s weight and desired suspension response.
- Use the sprung configuration for a more traditional suspension setup.
- Use the droop configuration when a lower ride height and increased downward axle movement are desired.
- Confirm that the suspension moves freely without binding after installation.
- Recheck all mounting hardware after the first run.
