This Axial Aluminum Shock Body, 11 x 39.5mm is a direct-fit upgrade for the SCX10 III Base Camp, replacing the stock shock body with a machined aluminum threaded body for improved durability and a premium look. Threaded aluminum bodies also allow for adjustable pre-load, letting you fine-tune ride height.
Because it's a genuine Axial part built to the SCX10 III Base Camp's 11x39.5mm shock specification, it's a direct-fit replacement using the vehicle's existing shock caps, shafts, and mounting hardware, without requiring any other modifications. Aluminum construction resists cracking and wear better than a composite shock body.
This is a functional durability upgrade with a cosmetic benefit, aimed at SCX10 III Base Camp owners who want more durable, adjustable shocks. The set includes two aluminum shock bodies per package.
