This Axial Transfer Case Metal Gears set is a replacement internal gear set for the SCX10 III's transfer case, upgrading or restoring the drivetrain with all-metal construction for better durability than composite gears under heavy load. The transfer case splits power to the front and rear axles, making its gears a critical drivetrain component.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the SCX10 III's transfer case, it drops in as a direct replacement without requiring modification to the transfer case housing or surrounding drivetrain components. Metal gears hold up significantly better than composite gears when running higher-torque motor setups or crawling hard over technical terrain.
This is both a functional repair part and a durability upgrade, intended for SCX10 III owners rebuilding a worn transfer case or upgrading from composite to metal gearing for better long-term reliability. The set includes the gears needed for a standard transfer case rebuild.
