This is the washer set for the Kyosho Scorpion XXL.
Washers do two distinct jobs on a radio control car. They spread the clamping load of a fastener across a wider area so the head does not dig into or crack the part beneath it, and they act as precision spacers that set free movement in an assembly. That second role is the one that matters most during a rebuild, because getting the endplay right on a shaft or a pivot is what determines whether it moves freely without slop.
They are also the parts most easily lost when a car is stripped down. They are small, they are loose the moment a screw comes out, and a rebuild that stalls because two washers went missing is a frustrating way to lose an evening.
Buying them as a set means having the right sizes on hand rather than trying to source individual pieces mid-job. Kyosho supplies this as an assortment for the Scorpion XXL specifically. Note this fits the 1/7 scale Scorpion XXL, not the smaller vintage Scorpion or Turbo Scorpion.
