Description

The Powerhobby 540 5-Slot 13T Brushed Motor delivers smooth, responsive power for compatible 1/10-scale RC rock crawlers and trail trucks.

Its five-slot armature creates a smooth and controllable powerband for navigating rocks, steep climbs, and uneven terrain. Compared with higher-turn crawler motors, the 13T winding provides increased wheel speed while maintaining predictable low-speed control.

High-purity copper windings help improve efficiency, while strong magnets provide dependable brushed-motor performance. The motor also features oversized high-RPM bearings, a precision-balanced rotor, and direct-solder wiring tabs for a clean, customizable installation.

Installation Note

This motor requires a compatible brushed electronic speed control. Do not connect it to a brushless-only ESC.

The motor has direct-solder terminals and does not include preinstalled motor connectors. Confirm the correct wire polarity before applying power. Reversing the motor wires will reverse the rotation direction.

The 13T winding can draw more current and produce more speed than higher-turn crawler motors. Use conservative gearing during initial setup and monitor the motor and ESC temperatures. Excessively tall gearing, drivetrain binding, or prolonged stalling can cause overheating and electronic damage.
