This Team Losi Racing hinge pin set includes two 4mm by 66mm pins finished in electro nickel, engineered for the 8X and 8XE platforms. Hinge pins form the backbone of the suspension arm mounting system, running through the arm hinges and bulkheads to allow smooth, controlled suspension arm movement while keeping geometry consistent through compression and rebound. The electro nickel finish adds a hard, corrosion-resistant surface that reduces friction and wear at the hinge points compared to unfinished steel, helping the pins resist scoring and galling over repeated suspension cycles. This part functions as a direct factory replacement for pins that have become bent, worn, or damaged from hard impacts, restoring proper suspension arm alignment and free movement. Straight, well-finished hinge pins are essential for consistent handling, since a bent or worn pin can bind the suspension arm and cause inconsistent, unpredictable behavior on rough terrain.
