The Losi TLR242001 is a front center dogbone built for the 8IGHT 3.0 and 8IGHT-E 4wd. This dogbone transfers power from the center differential out to the front driveline, flexing slightly at each end to accommodate the car's suspension and chassis movement while maintaining consistent drive.
A bent or broken center dogbone will cut power to the front differential entirely, which is a common result of a hard nose-in crash or rollover during aggressive driving. Because the center dogbone carries the combined torque load from your engine or motor before it splits to the front differential, it experiences significant stress every time you're on the throttle, making it a part worth inspecting after any serious front-end impact.
