Description
The Losi LOSB5051 is an exhaust header seal and spring set built for the LST/2, Muggy, L427, and MGB. The seals keep exhaust gases contained at the header joint, preventing leaks that can rob your engine of performance, while the springs hold the header assembly securely against the seal under the vibration and heat of regular running.
A worn or hardened seal can develop a leak over time, leading to a noticeable drop in power and an increase in exhaust noise, both signs it's time for a refresh. Because these seals are exposed to constant heat cycling every time you run your engine, they naturally degrade faster than most other components, making this routine maintenance for any well-used nitro-powered LST or Muggy.
