The Losi LOSA4408 is a steering post set built for the 8IGHT 2.0, 8IGHT-T 2.0, 8IGHT-E, 8IGHT 3.0, 8IGHT, and 8IGHT-T. These posts anchor the steering bellcrank and servo saver assembly to the chassis, giving the whole steering system a solid pivot point to work against. Worn or bent posts introduce play into your steering, making the car feel vague or inconsistent through corners even if the rest of the steering linkage is in good shape.
Because the posts see constant rotational load every time the servo moves the bellcrank, they are a natural wear item on a car that sees regular use. This genuine Losi replacement set installs using the factory mounting points, restoring tight, precise steering geometry without any modification.
