This 1.0 module pitch pinion gear steps up to an 11-tooth count for Losi's 8IGHT-E and SCTE electric platforms, carrying power from the motor pinion mesh to the spur gear with precision and minimal play. Machined from hardened metal, it holds its tooth profile under the sustained torque and heat of electric off-road racing, resisting the stripping and wear that eventually claim softer stock gears. Moving up a tooth from a lower-count pinion changes the overall drivetrain ratio, giving drivers a way to trade a bit of low-end punch for extra top-end speed as motor and battery combinations change. It uses the same 1.0 module pitch as the factory pinion, so it bolts straight onto the stock motor shaft with no other drivetrain parts required. This gear serves both as a direct replacement for a damaged or worn factory pinion and as a simple gearing upgrade for tuning acceleration and speed.
