Description
These center differential outdrives are machined from premium high-carbon steel and lightened through additional precision machining that removes excess material without sacrificing strength, reducing rotating mass in the center differential of Losi 8X and 8XE buggies. Lowering rotating weight at the differential helps the drivetrain accelerate and respond more quickly, since less energy is spent spinning heavy internal components. The outdrives are heat treated for added wear resistance and finished with a black rust-resistant coating to hold up under repeated running and exposure to dirt and moisture. They also feature tight tolerance flats machined for the brake discs, ensuring a precise, secure fit that keeps braking consistent. As a genuine Losi part, these outdrives are a performance upgrade over the stock components, offering reduced rotating weight while maintaining the strength needed for hard racing and bashing. Two outdrives are included in each package, enough to service the full center differential. This is a solid option for 8X and 8XE owners looking to sharpen throttle response and braking feel without compromising drivetrain durability.
