Description
This Losi set screw is machined from strong steel alloy and sized M5 x 4mm with a flat point tip, built to a precise, factory-correct fit for Losi RC cars and trucks. Unlike a standard screw, a set screw seats fully inside a hub, collar, or shaft and uses its point to lock a component in place against rotation or slippage; the flat point spreads contact pressure over a wider area than a sharper cup or cone point, which helps protect softer shaft surfaces from marring while still holding a secure grip. Steel alloy construction gives it strong tensile strength and resists rounding out or shearing under the vibration and load RC drivetrains generate during hard use. This set screw is a direct factory replacement, matching OEM dimensions and thread pitch so it installs straight into stock components without modification, and it's useful for builders replacing worn, lost, or stripped set screws in wheel hubs, collars, or gear assemblies during routine maintenance. Each package includes 10 set screws, enough to service several components in one order.
