This Losi cup point set screw is machined from strong steel alloy, giving it the strength needed to hold securely under the vibration and torque loads found throughout RC drivetrain and hub assemblies. Sized M4 x 8mm, it serves as a direct factory replacement for original Losi hardware, restoring proper fit and clamping force wherever the OEM specification calls for this length and thread pitch. Unlike a standard screw, a set screw has no head and threads fully into the part, with its cupped tip biting into a shaft or hub to lock components such as collars, gears, or wheel hexes in place and prevent unwanted slippage during hard driving. Because Losi builds its vehicles around precise hardware kits, using the correct replacement set screw helps maintain factory alignment and secure retention in whichever drivetrain or hub assembly the original screw served.
