Description
This 13-tooth pinion gear is designed for the Losi 5IVE-TE platform and is machined from strong alloy steel to withstand the high torque loads produced by the vehicle's electric drivetrain. It has a Mod 1.5 tooth pitch and is bored for an 8mm "D" profile motor shaft, giving it a secure, non-slip fit under hard acceleration. The precisely cut teeth maintain clean mesh with the spur gear, reducing drivetrain noise and the premature wear that comes with a worn or mismatched pinion. As a direct factory-spec replacement, it installs without requiring any changes to the motor mount or gearbox setup. A smaller 13-tooth pinion lowers the overall gear ratio, which improves low-end acceleration and torque delivery, making it a useful choice for technical terrain or heavier battery setups where punch off the line matters more than outright top speed. The alloy steel build resists tooth stripping even under the significant torque generated by large-scale electric power systems.
