Description
This 19-tooth pinion gear is designed for the Losi 5IVE-TE platform and is machined from strong alloy steel to handle the high torque output of large-scale electric drivetrains. It features a Mod 1.5 tooth pitch and an 8mm "D"-shaped bore that mates securely to the motor output shaft, preventing slippage while transferring power efficiently to the spur gear. The alloy steel construction resists stripping and wear far better than softer metal gears, standing up to repeated hard acceleration and sustained off-road loads. As a direct factory replacement, it installs on the stock 5IVE-TE motor mount without modification, making it simple to swap out a worn or damaged pinion. With a higher tooth count than the 14T and 17T options, this gear also allows drivers to adjust overall gearing for higher top speed at the expense of some acceleration, depending on motor and driving style. Sold as a single pinion gear.
