This battery tray and strap set is designed for the 5IVE-TE platform and gives the truck a secure, vibration-resistant mounting system for its battery packs. The trays are molded from durable composite material rather than lightweight plastic, so they hold their shape under the heat and stress of hard running while resisting the cracking that can occur with worn factory trays. The kit includes both left and right side battery trays, spacers to properly position the packs, battery tray foam for cushioning and vibration dampening, and both long and short battery straps to accommodate different pack sizes and mounting configurations. Keeping batteries firmly seated is critical on a large-scale vehicle like the 5IVE-TE, since a loose pack can shift under hard acceleration or landings and damage wiring or connectors.
