Description
This front hinge pin brace set is a direct-fit chassis replacement engineered for all variants of the Losi 5IVE platform, including 5IVE-T, 5IVE-B, and 5IVE-TE trucks. Machined from strong steel alloy, the braces tie the front A and B hinge pin mounts to the chassis rails, adding rigidity to the front suspension mounting points and helping them resist bending or flexing under the repeated stress of hard landings and high-speed impacts common in large-scale bashing. The set includes both the front A and B hinge pin braces, giving a complete matched pair rather than requiring separate purchases. Steel construction was chosen over composite for this application because the hinge pin mounting area sees some of the highest concentrated loads on the front end, and steel resists deformation far better than plastic under those conditions. As a genuine Losi factory part, the braces are manufactured to the original mounting geometry, so they install as a straightforward swap without modification. This is a durable upgrade path for anyone experiencing bent or cracked hinge pin mounts.
