Description
This front differential ring gear is a 43-tooth drivetrain component engineered for the Losi 5IVE-T 3.0. Machined from premium alloy steel, it's part of an updated gearing setup designed to improve power delivery to the larger tires fitted on the 3.0 version of the 5IVE-T. Because the ratio was revised alongside the new tire size, this ring gear is intended to be run together with the matching 12-tooth pinion gear rather than mixed with earlier 5IVE gearing, ensuring correct mesh and even wear. Alloy steel construction stands up to the torque and heat a differential ring gear experiences under hard acceleration and sustained off-road abuse, resisting stripped teeth and premature wear better than softer materials. This is a direct factory replacement ring gear for the 5IVE-T 3.0's updated differential gearing, restoring proper ratio and mesh after a worn or damaged original gear. It also serves as an upgrade path for owners updating an older 5IVE differential to the current 3.0 gearing standard, giving the drivetrain the same optimized ratio found in the newer platform.
