This mechanical brake mount and brace is a chassis component engineered for the Losi 5IVE-TE platform, providing a secure mounting point for the vehicle's mechanical brake system. It's designed to fit a full-size, large-scale servo, giving builders the mounting strength needed to handle the torque and leverage a large servo puts on the brake linkage. The integrated brace reinforces the mount itself, reducing flex at the mounting point so brake feel stays consistent and precise even under hard, repeated braking. Constructed from a strong composite material, the mount is engineered to resist cracking and deformation from vibration, impacts, and the mechanical loads generated by the brake system, while keeping overall weight down compared to a metal alternative. The package includes both the mount and the brake brace as a complete assembly, so the full mounting structure is covered in one part. This is a factory replacement component for the 5IVE-TE, intended for drivers replacing a cracked, worn, or missing brake mount to restore reliable mechanical braking performance to factory specification.
