Description
These motor mount inserts are precision-machined slugs built for the Losi 5IVE-TE 3.0 platform, giving racers a fast way to adjust gear mesh without replacing the entire motor mount assembly. This particular set is sized for the 13.5 and 20.5 pinion positions when running a 67-tooth spur gear, covering gearing combinations not addressed by the other insert sizes. Each insert is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, a durable alloy that holds its shape and resists wear far better than the stock molded mount surface, keeping mesh consistent even after repeated motor changes. The distinctive insert shape locates securely in the motor mount pocket so the motor stays aligned run after run, which helps protect the spur and pinion from premature wear caused by inconsistent mesh. The package includes four mounting inserts along with the hardware needed for installation, so the set is ready to bolt in without sourcing extra parts. This is a factory-spec replacement and tuning part for the 5IVE-TE 3.0, well suited to both routine maintenance and drivers dialing in a specific gear ratio.
