Description
These M3 flanged aluminum lock nuts are a lightweight hardware upgrade for Losi RC vehicles that use standard M3 fasteners, including suspension links, shock mounts, and other bolted assemblies. Machined from aluminum and anodized black, each nut weighs only about 40 percent of a comparable steel lock nut, reducing weight at hardware connection points across the vehicle. The integrated flange spreads clamping load over a wider surface area than a standard nut, which helps prevent the nut from digging into plastic or composite parts while the nylon locking insert resists loosening under vibration from bashing, racing, and jumps. As a performance upgrade over stock steel hardware, these flanged aluminum nuts give racers a way to cut weight while improving clamping stability at flange-style mounting points. The package includes ten nuts, enough to cover several hardware locations on a build or to serve as maintenance spares. They thread onto any standard M3 bolt or screw, making them a useful addition to a hardware kit for compatible Losi platforms.
