This is a 16-tooth pinion gear machined to MOD 1.5 gear pitch, designed as a drivetrain component for Losi 6ix-platform vehicles. The pinion mounts to the motor shaft and meshes with the spur gear to transfer power from the motor into the transmission, directly affecting the vehicle's final gear ratio, top speed, and acceleration. Precision-cut teeth at the correct MOD 1.5 pitch ensure smooth, consistent meshing with the mating spur gear, reducing wear and noise compared to a worn or mismatched pinion.
