Description
This Losi front hood is a factory-replacement body panel molded in tough polycarbonate for the 1/6-scale Super Baja Rey desert truck. It reproduces the stock hood's vents, contours, and mounting points so it drops directly onto the existing body without modification. Polycarbonate construction gives the hood the flexibility to absorb impacts and rock strikes common in desert-style bashing and racing without shattering, while still holding its molded shape and panel lines. Positioned over the front bulkhead and steering components, the hood helps shield the chassis from dust, mud, and debris kicked up by the front tires, protecting sensitive electronics and drivetrain parts housed underneath. Because it matches Losi's original tooling, the hood keeps the truck's scale desert-racer look consistent with the rest of the body set rather than mismatching panel lines or fitment gaps.
