Description
This chassis with integrated motor cover plate is a direct factory replacement for the Losi Hammer Rey platform. It forms the structural base of the vehicle, tying together the suspension mounts, drivetrain, and body posts while the motor cover plate shields the motor and internal drivetrain components from dirt, rocks, and impact damage during off-road driving. Replacing a cracked or warped chassis restores proper suspension geometry and drivetrain alignment, both of which affect handling consistency during hard acceleration, jumps, and landings. Keeping the motor cover intact also helps keep debris out of the drivetrain housing, reducing wear on gears and bearings over time.
