Description
This front brake caliper is a fully assembled V2 upgrade for the braking system on Promoto-MX and Promoto-SM 1/4-scale motorcycles, replacing the stock caliper with a revised design for improved braking performance. The caliper body is injection-molded plastic paired with a 3D-printed metal brake piston, combining the light weight of molded plastic with the added strength and precision of a metal piston for more consistent brake actuation than an all-plastic design. Losi positions this as a direct upgrade over the original caliper, giving riders stronger, more reliable front braking without needing to modify the fork or wheel assembly. The unit arrives fully assembled with the piston, bearings, and brake pads already installed, so it's ready to bolt straight onto the bike without additional assembly work. Along with the caliper itself, the package includes a brake actuator arm, a brake actuator return spring, and an M2.5 x 10mm cap head screw, covering everything needed to complete the front brake installation in one part number. This makes it a straightforward swap for anyone looking to improve stopping power or replace a worn or damaged caliper on their Promoto build.
