Description
This aluminum spindle set is a performance upgrade for Losi's 1/12-scale NASCAR GROM race vehicles, replacing the stock plastic front spindles with a pair machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The anodized finish adds surface durability and helps the spindles shrug off the scrapes and light contact that come with close oval racing, while the aluminum construction resists the flex and wear that plastic spindles can develop over repeated hard cornering. Because steering geometry runs directly through the spindles, a stiffer, truer-running pair helps keep camber and caster settings consistent from run to run, giving drivers more predictable steering response and front-end grip under braking and turn-in. The set is dimensioned to match the factory GROM chassis, so it bolts on using the existing kingpins, bearings, and steering linkage without any additional fitting. This is a durability and precision upgrade over the stock plastic spindles rather than a routine wear-item swap, best suited to racers looking to firm up front-end feel or replace spindles that have already taken damage. Two spindles are included in the package, enough to outfit both sides of the front end.
