Description
This steel hex center driveshaft is the stock factory replacement for Losi's 1/12-scale NASCAR GROM race vehicles, transferring power from the transmission out to the axle assembly at the heart of the drivetrain. Built as a hardened steel hex shaft, it is engineered to handle the repeated torque loads and hard launches typical of oval racing without twisting or wearing prematurely, giving GROM owners a reliable, factory-spec part for routine maintenance or crash repair. Because it matches the original equipment dimensions exactly, it drops into the chassis using the existing bearings and hardware with no fitting or adjustment needed. For racers who want to shed rotating mass instead, Losi also offers an optional aluminum center driveshaft as a lighter alternative, but this steel version remains the durable, budget-friendly choice for keeping a GROM running true to stock specification. It is best suited to owners replacing a bent, worn, or broken driveshaft rather than those chasing a performance upgrade. One center driveshaft is included per package, ready to install directly in place of the original part.
