This foam battery spacer helps GROM racers dial in the fit of smaller, race-style battery packs inside Losi's 1/12-scale NASCAR GROM chassis. Because stock GROM vehicles are designed around a specific battery footprint, swapping to a shorter or narrower race pack can leave it loose in the tray; this spacer fills that gap so the battery sits snugly and consistently in the same position every run. It is built from high-quality dense foam that cushions the pack against vibration and hard impacts during oval racing, helping protect cells and connectors from damage over a race weekend. The spacer is designed to work with the vehicle's existing stock battery strap, so no additional hardware or strap modifications are needed to hold everything in place. Keeping the battery secure and centered also helps maintain consistent weight distribution and center of gravity, which matters for handling balance on GROM's short, fast tracks.
