The Losi TLR5279 is a 30ml bottle of silicone differential oil rated at 3,000 centistokes, formulated for use across the entire 8IGHT series. Differential oil is what gives your diff its damping characteristics, and this lighter 3,000cs viscosity produces a looser, more free-spinning differential feel compared to a heavier oil, which can help with corner entry and overall car rotation depending on your setup preferences.
Diff oil is a genuine tuning tool as much as a maintenance item, since changing viscosity is one of the most direct ways to adjust how your differential behaves under load without any mechanical changes to the gears themselves.
