Description
The ARRMA ARAC9710 Button Head Screw set contains ten 3x18mm button head screws for ARRMA vehicles.
M3 screws are the workhorse fastener size across an ARRMA chassis, and the 18mm length puts these in the medium reach category, used where the fastener passes through one or two components before threading home. Screws of this size typically secure suspension mounts, chassis braces, gearbox housings, and electronics trays.
The button head profile keeps the head low and rounded, presenting no sharp edges to catch on debris, while the hex socket drive gives solid tool engagement so the screw can be torqued properly without the driver camming out.
Hardware in these positions leads a hard life. Constant vibration from the motor and drivetrain works screws loose over time, worn drivers round out the sockets, and heavy impacts can shear a fastener outright. A rounded socket is the most common failure and turns a routine job into a drilling exercise, which is why replacing suspect screws early is always the cheaper path.
These are direct factory replacements manufactured to the correct thread specification, installing in the stock locations with no modification. Ten screws are included, enough to refresh several assemblies with spares left on the bench.
