Description
The ARRMA ARAC9356 Steering Block is a genuine factory replacement front steering knuckle for ARRMA 4x4 BLX 4S vehicles.
The steering block, also called the steering knuckle, is the part that actually turns the front wheel. It pivots on the king pins inside the C-hub and holds the wheel axle and bearings, so it carries the steering angle, the cornering load, and the weight of the front of the vehicle all at once.
That combination makes it one of the most heavily stressed suspension components. Every kerb strike, rock impact, and awkward landing on a turned wheel loads the block in a direction it was not designed to resist. Cracks typically appear around the king pin bores or the axle housing, and once a block is cracked the wheel no longer sits at a consistent angle. The result is steering that pulls to one side, uneven tire wear, and accelerated bearing failure as the axle runs out of true.
Steering blocks are a standard spare to keep on hand for exactly this reason. This is a direct factory replacement that installs in the stock location with no modification, working with the standard king pins, bearings, and axles.
