Description
The ARRMA ARAC5046 C-Hubs are genuine factory replacement front caster blocks for the ARRMA Kraton 4X4 4S BLX and Outcast 4X4 4S BLX, also catalogued under ARRMA part number AR330519.
The C-hub is the pivoting block that connects the front suspension arm to the steering knuckle. Its shape is what sets the caster angle of the front wheels, which controls how the steering self-centres and how stable the vehicle feels tracking in a straight line at speed. The steering knuckle rotates on king pins inside the C-hub, so this part carries steering loads, suspension loads, and impact forces all at once.
That makes it one of the most commonly broken parts on any 4X4 basher. A curb strike or an awkward landing on a turned wheel loads the C-hub in a direction it cannot resist, and cracks typically appear around the king pin bores.
These are moulded from tough composite material chosen for crash resistance rather than outright rigidity, so they flex and absorb an impact instead of transferring it further into the suspension arm. Precision moulding keeps the pivot bores accurate for smooth suspension operation.
This is a direct factory replacement requiring no modification. One left C-hub and one right C-hub are included.
