Description
These engine mount inserts and screws are a genuine Losi chassis component sized for 19-tooth pinion gear applications on the 5IVE-T and MINI WRC platforms, sold as a set of four. The inserts thread into the engine mount to hold the pinion gear at the correct height and mesh distance from the spur gear, and are designed for use with the LOSB5044 pinion gear. Proper gear mesh is critical for nitro drivetrain longevity, since inserts that are worn, stripped, or the wrong size can cause poor gear mesh, excess noise, and accelerated wear on both the pinion and spur gears. As a direct factory-spec replacement, this set restores correct mounting geometry without needing to replace the entire engine mount. The included screws ensure a complete, secure installation using factory-matched hardware. This is a practical maintenance part for 5IVE-T and MINI WRC owners tuning gear mesh or replacing worn mounting hardware to keep their nitro engine and transmission running smoothly and quietly under load.
