Description
This hinge pin brace cover set is compatible with all 5IVE platform vehicles and provides protective covers for the front and rear hinge pin braces that anchor the suspension arms to the chassis. Molded from composite material, the covers shield the brace mounting points from dirt, mud, and rock strikes that can otherwise work their way into the hinge pin hardware and accelerate wear. The set includes four covers total, providing coverage for the hinge pin braces at both the front and rear of the vehicle. Hinge pin braces are a key structural link for the suspension, since they keep the hinge pins properly located under the stress of hard cornering and landings, so keeping debris out of that area helps the pins and braces last longer between services. This is a direct factory-replacement part for the 5IVE platform, making it a simple way to restore protection to hinge pin braces that have lost or damaged their original covers. Installing this set helps keep the suspension's mounting hardware cleaner and more consistent.
