Description
This tapered shock piston blank is designed for the Losi 5IVE-T 3.0 platform's larger 32mm Big Bore shocks, giving builders a starting point for customizing shock damping characteristics. Unlike a standard flat piston, the tapered design is intended to improve performance by increasing oil pack and delivering faster rebound, which can help the suspension respond more quickly after compression on rough terrain and hard landings. The piston blank comes with 12 dimple hole marks pre-marked on the surface, allowing racers and tuners to drill their own hole pattern and size to fine-tune compression and rebound damping for specific track conditions or personal preference. This is a performance-oriented component rather than a stock replacement, letting experienced tuners go beyond the factory piston setup to extract more precise shock tuning from the 32mm Big Bore shock package. The package includes four blank pistons, enough to outfit a full set of shocks. This part is best suited for 5IVE-T 3.0 owners and racers who want to experiment with custom piston hole patterns to optimize shock performance for their specific setup and driving style.
