The Spektrum SPMSLR370 is a 3 channel 2.4GHz SLT receiver with DSC, designed as an economical and dependable receiver solution for surface RC models.
Operating on the SLT protocol, this receiver pairs with SLT compatible surface transmitters and provides three channels, which covers steering, throttle, and one auxiliary function such as a lighting kit, a second ESC, or a gear or mode switch.
The DSC capability is the feature that sets this receiver apart in practical use. DSC, or Direct Servo Control, allows a wired connection between transmitter and receiver so the model can be operated without transmitting over the air. That makes it possible to check servo direction, verify endpoints, adjust trim, and confirm linkage travel on the bench without broadcasting a signal or risking interference with other drivers at a track or event. It is also a safer way to work on a vehicle with the wheels off the ground.
As a receiver rather than a wear part, this is most often bought either as a replacement after water damage or crash impact, or as a spare to bind into a second vehicle so one transmitter can serve multiple models.
