Description
The Losi LOSA3544 is a brake cam set built for the 8IGHT 2.0, 8IGHT-T 2.0, 8IGHT-E, 8IGHT 3.0, 8IGHT, and 8IGHT-T. The brake cam presses the brake pads against the discs when you pull the trigger, converting your servo's rotation into the clamping force that slows the car down. A worn or rounded cam can leave your brakes feeling soft or inconsistent, which is a problem heading into a tight corner or a technical section of track.
Because the cam engages every time you brake, it wears gradually over the life of the car and is worth checking whenever your braking feels less sharp than it used to. This genuine Losi replacement part is machined to the same specification as the original, so it drops in and restores full braking authority right away. Keep one in your pit box to avoid a mid-race braking issue.
