The Losi LOSA3500 is a front, rear, and center differential housing built for the 8IGHT, 8IGHT-T 2.0/3.3, 8-X, and 8-XT/XTE. The housing encloses the differential gears and holds them in precise alignment while containing the diff fluid that gives the gear set its damping characteristics.
A cracked or worn housing can leak fluid or let the internal gears shift out of alignment, both of which show up as inconsistent power delivery or unusual noise from the diff. Because this housing serves all three differential positions across the 8IGHT platform, it's a versatile part to keep on hand whether you're rebuilding after a crash or doing routine maintenance.
