Description
Kyosho W5198-02 is a genuine pair of 58mm shock shafts for Kyosho's Triple Cap dampers on 1/10 off-road vehicles. These polished steel shafts ride through the shock seals and cartridge, so surface finish directly affects how the suspension feels. A bent or pitted shaft tears up seals, weeps oil, and adds stiction, while fresh factory shafts restore smooth, consistent damping after a rebuild or a hard crash.
The 58mm length is the rear shock shaft size specified for Kyosho's 2WD off-road family, installing as a direct replacement on the Ultima RT5, SC, DB, and RB5, and matching later RT6 and SC6 applications that use the same 58mm rear shaft. No modification is needed; simply swap them in during your next shock service along with fresh oil and seals. Package includes two shock shafts, enough to service both rear dampers at once so the truck stays balanced side to side.
