Description
Kyosho XGS024 is a pair of medium-length, medium-rate front springs for big bore shocks. Kyosho's X-Gear spring line codes the rate by colour, and this is the gold medium.
Spring rate is the first thing most drivers change when a track's grip level shifts. A medium front spring is the usual starting point: soft enough to let the front end load up and generate steering, firm enough that the car does not dive under braking or bottom out on landings. Keeping a set of these alongside the softer and firmer options turns front-end setup into a real adjustment rather than guesswork.
Kyosho lists these for the Ultima SC-R series and Ultima RT-5. Dealers also list them for the Ultima SC and Ultima DB, which use the same front big bore shock.
